Food Stolen During Burglary At Christ Church

Food items that were for a community feeding programme were stolen during a burglary at Christ Church on Middle Road in Warwick, the police have confirmed.

A police spokesperson said, “At 11:03 p.m. on Sunday 21st June, police received a report of a burglary at Christ Church on Middle Road in Warwick.

“Information is that the incident occurred sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Friday 20th June and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday 21st June. There was no sign of forced entry.

“An unknown suspect reportedly entered the Church, and stole a quantity of foodstuff including 3 boxes of frozen chicken, which were meant to provide meals as part of a community feeding program which has been operated by the church since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
