BTA Interview Reaches 9.8 Million Viewers

Bermuda Tourism Authority Interim CEO Glenn Jones’ interview by Full Court Press host Greta Van Susteren on May 21 has reached 9.8 million viewers.

The interview lasted more than 13 minutes, with Mr. Jones highlighting the impact of Covid-19 on Bermuda’s tourism industry, as well as the viability of Bermuda as a travel destination once restrictions due to the pandemic are lifted.


Ms. Van Susteren tweeted, “Dear @BdaGlenn, I am so happy to read that my interview w/ you received 9.8million viewers. #Bermuda is a beautiful place, always very kind and welcoming to American tourists. I wish Bermuda the best. thanks for doing the interview.”

    The bta keeps pumping these kind of stats out but so what? The acid test is whether these figures are converted to visitors

    Glenn had to know at least 24 hours in advance that he would be on with Greta, why didn’t BTA use the Bermuda Tourism and Bermuda Tourism Authority Facebook platforms to let ‘followers’ know? How many didn’t get the Bermuda message because BTA didn’t get the message out??
