13-June-2020 In The City Of Hamilton
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Social Justice Bermuda March on Saturday June 13 June 2020 is an exceptional circumstance justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4[1] of the Emergency Powers [COVID-19 Continuing Precautions] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than twenty [20] persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4[5] of those Regulations permitting a group of more than twenty persons to assemble on Saturday 13th day of June 2020 from 4pm to 6:30pm at City of Hamilton – Barr’s Bay Park and to march from Barr’s Bay Park along the following route:
Bermudiana Road, east on Church Street to Parliament Street, south on Parliament Street to Front Street and then west on Parliament Street – finishing back at Barr’s Park.
Conditions as follows:
All persons attending the march must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
Any conditions as set out in the Procession Permit.
Bermuda Police Service directions.
