Coalition Receives $30,000 From Athene Life
The Coalition for the Protection of Children [CPC] has received a $30,000 donation from Athene Life Re, which they said will assist in “providing high-demand programs at a time when the need is critical.”
“We are very grateful to Athene for their generous contribution and continued support of our mission. As families face new challenges to meet basic needs due to the current economic pressures aligned with COVID, our role in helping our community care for our youngest generations is more important than ever,” said Kelly Hunt, Executive Director of CPC. “This donation allows us to continue to make a difference for these children and their families.”
Natasha Scotland Courcy, SVP General Counsel and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Athene Life Re, stated, “We are honored to provide support to the Coalition for the Protection of Children. We recognize the impact COVID-19 has had in our community and hope that this donation will make a significant impact on the children and families in Bermuda who need it most.”
CPC stated that the donation will go towards food assistance and essential programming that the families they serve every day have come to rely on.
