Videos: Sleepy Hollow Cup Match Day II
[Updated] The second day of Cup Match in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood in Hamilton parish is set to take place today [July 31] and you can watch live below.
The event, which has a permit and is restricted to residents of Sleepy Hollow Drive and their invited guests in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, started yesterday, with the first day of action seeing Somerset on 210-4, while St. George’s were all out for 184.
Update 7.46pm: We will have a proper match report later, but in summary, Somerset won 3 of 4 matches, winning two of the three men’s matches and also claiming victory in the women’s match. The well organised event saw some good cricket being played and excellent camaraderie.

The rules of the match generally follow those of ‘normal’ cricket matches, with a few amendments, such as playing with a plastic ball and a fielder having to take a shot if they drop a catch.
The atmosphere is quite festive as a DJ is providing music and commentary and area residents have set up camps on the perimeter and are providing a small, but highly enthusiastic cheering section, complete with air horns.
