MTM Covid Open Tournament Final Day Results
The MTM Bermuda Covid Open 2020 came to an end, with a repeat of the Covid Championships ladies champion, while the men’s final saw a three-set battle at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts.
In the ladies final, number one seed Kirsten Saltus took on Morgan Lightbourne, Saltus won the first set 6-3 and then won the second set 6-2 to claim the title.
In the men’s final, Trey Mallory would come from a set down to defeat Gavin Manders. Manders won the first set 7-5, but Mallory changed gears and won the second set 6-0, and the third set saw Mallory claim the victory winning 6-1.
