Museum Offer 50% Discount On Venue Rentals
The National Museum of Bermuda [NMB] is offering a 50% discount on venue rentals for the months of August and September for groups of 50 people or less. Museum members will also receive a 20% discount on food and beverage for their event thanks to Museum partner Fourways Catering.
When asked about the Museum as an event space, Advancement Officer Katie Bennett said, “For those staying on Island this summer or visiting from away and looking a unique place to celebrate, NMB is the perfect place.
“Our beautiful spaces can be totally customised for your event: for cocktail hours, small board meetings and corporate events, intimate wedding celebrations or anniversaries, birthday parties, or just to celebrate family and friends.”
Located at the historic Royal Naval Dockyard, commanding Bermuda’s westernmost point with stunning sea views, and set within Bermuda’s largest fort, NMB can provide a dramatic backdrop for any occasion. Inside the limestone rampart walls are a variety of large historic buildings — including the landmark Commissioner’s House — rooms, levels and outdoor event spaces suited for bespoke events.
In 2018 and 2019, NMB won a Best of Bermuda Award for “Best Wedding Reception Location”. The Bermudian magazine wrote: “Our judges suggest heading to Dockyard and checking out Commissioner’s House for your venue. The three-story Georgian building—with its wrap-around balconies, sweeping ocean views, five grand dining rooms filled with art and crystal chandeliers and large outdoor lawn area—makes for a stunning location for a wedding reception.”
NMB is a non-government, non-profit institution that relies on admission, venue hire, and private donors to share Bermuda’s heritage and connect people to Bermuda’s past.
