Why oh why are government workers allowed to do this? Why can they not meet at 4:00pm when they close their doors? Private schools do not have meetings at 9:00am and tell parents not to bring their children to school till 10:00am. They meet after the children have gone home.Nor do private businesses have staff meetings during business hours: they meet after the business has closed. Government workers, however, like bus drivers, ferry boat crew, public school teachers, trash collectors etc meet when it suits them, not their customers.
Maybe the staff are going to discus the lack of mail deliveries between Bermuda and the US. It is going to take them a long time to clear the backlog!
