BFRS To Hold Charity Car Wash Tomorrow
The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service will be holding a charity carwash tomorrow [Sept 12] at the Hamilton Fire Station on King Street, with the proceeds to be divided between three charities.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Recruit of 2020 will be holding a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, September 12th from 10am until 4pm at the Hamilton Fire Station on King Street.
“It is a tradition of every Recruit Course that we raise money towards a worthy cause. This year we have decided on hosting a car wash and all of the proceeds will be divided between three charities which are The Bermuda Diabetes Association, Safe Space Bermuda and The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Benevolent Fund,” a fire service spokesperson said.
“Please come out and support this event. All bikes, trucks and cars are welcomed.”
“All money collected will be on a donation basis.”
