One Communications Adjourns General Meeting
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], One Communications Ltd., advised that their Annual General Meeting will be adjourned.
The filing stated: “One Communications Ltd. will adjourn the 2020 Annual General Meeting of its shareholders [AGM] originally due to take place at 9:00am on 25 September 2020.
“The Company has been notified that the delivery of the notice convening the meeting, together with ancillary materials, was adversely affected by hurricane- related delays. This has resulted in shareholders not receiving adequate notice of the meeting in accordance with the Company’s bye-laws.
“Accordingly, to ensure that shareholders’ constitutional rights to attend, in person or by proxy, and vote at the AGM, the Chairman has decided it is in the best interest of the Company to adjourn the meeting until such time as may be declared by the Board of Directors and properly notified to shareholders in accordance with applicable law.
“The Company apologizes to its shareholders for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
