BFRS Extinguish Structural Fire In Warwick
Yesterday evening [Sept 11] the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a structural fire in Warwick, after a dryer caught fire.
A spokesperson said, “At 5:15pm yesterday evening, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service dispatch received a report of a structural fire in Warwick.
“The BFRS responded with one appliance from Hamilton Station and one appliance from Clearwater Station with a total of 8 firefighters.
“On arrival fire crews saw smoke issuing from a structure. They found a dryer on fire located in a store room on the 1st floor.
“Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
