Two Motorcycle Collision In Smith’s Parish
Emergency services responded to a collision this afternoon [Sept 19] at the junction of South Road and Zuill’s Park Road in Smith’s Parish.
A police spokesperson said, “At about 4:40 p.m. today, Saturday, 19th September, police received a report of a serious road traffic collision at the junction of South Road and Zuill’s Park Road in Smith’s Parish.
“It appears a female motorcycle rider was exiting Zuill’s Park Road and attempted to make a right turn, headed in a westerly direction on South Shore Road, whilst another motorcycle ridden by a male was headed in the opposite direction along South Shore Road and the two collided.
“Both riders were transported via ambulance to hospital, for treatment to their injuries the extent of which remain unknown.
“Traffic is being diverted away from the area as Traffic Collision Investigators and Officers from the Forensic Support Unit process the scene.”
