One Person Injured In Collision In Paget
[Updated] One person is believed to have sustained minor injuries following a collision on Harbour Road near Lower Ferry in Paget this morning [July 13], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “There has been a single vehicle collision on Harbour Road near Lower Ferry, Paget, involving a car.
“The driver is believed to have sustained minor injuries. The vehicle is causing an obstruction to traffic, and police are currently managing the scene.
“Traffic is being diverted via Chapel Road and Highwood Lane until the roadway is cleared.
“Motorists are advised to expect delays and should use alternative routes where possible.”
Update 4.25pm: A police spokesperson said, “Shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, police and Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcar near the lower ferry stop on Harbour Road, Paget.
“Reports are the car was traveling in an easterly direction when it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a roadside wall near the lower ferry stop.
“The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
“The vehicle was left with extensive front end damage.
“The roadway was blocked for approximately two hours and resulted in significant delays with traffic headed east diverted unto Middle Road at the junction of Harbour Road and Chapel Road. Westbound traffic was diverted onto South Road at the junction of Harbour Road and Lovers Lane.
“The Bermuda Service wishes to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while the collision was being dealt with.”
