Bermuda Triangle Championships Held

Fifteen martial artists from four schools represented Bermuda during the Bermuda Triangle Championships tournament, which was held this past Saturday [Oct 24].

The four schools included Tabata-Ha Shotokan Karate-Do, Bermuda Karate Institute, Zenji Ryu Karate School, and Harto Dojo.

Andrea McKey said, “The Bermuda Triangle Championships tournament was held this past weekend and was well attended by schools in England and all over the United States.

“Bermuda had 15 competitors representing four schools and our results were awesome. Bermuda should be proud of these students; they represented the island well.”

  • Seri Fisher – Musical Weapons 1st, Krazy Athletics 2nd, 7th in kata

“All the judges and ring coordinators of course would have loved to have been in Bermuda physically; maybe next year.

“We have shown off our island home to them all with many pictures and videos. During the tournament, some competed outside, showing the splendid sun and beauty of the island.”
