Video: BFRS Extinguish Fire In Devonshire
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a structural fire at a home in Devonshire this morning [Oct 5].
A BFRS spokesperson said, “At 9:12 am this morning Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Dispatch received a report of a structural fire at a home located in Hillsdale Devonshire.
“The fire service responded with 5 appliances from the Hamilton and Port Royal Stations with a total of 12 firefighters.
“On arrival fire crews saw a two story residence with thick black smoke bellowing out the windows and doors of a lower apartment.
“The Sgt instructed two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to enter the apartment and extinguish the fire.
“The fire is presently under investigation by the BFRS.”
