Video: Structural Fire On Church Street
Firefighters extinguished a “structural fire” on Church Street in Hamilton this morning [Aug 1].
A spokesperson said, “On Monday August 1, 2022 at 8:36am BFRS Dispatch received a report of a confirmed fire in a multi floor structure on Church Street, Hamilton.
“BFRS responded with two appliances from Hamilton Station with six firefighters.
“On arrival fire crews found a multi story building with smoke issuing out of a first story window.
“Fire crews entered the building wearing breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze. The fire was found on the first floor of the building and quickly extinguished.
“There were no injuries at the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire investigator.”
