BFRS Extinguish Structural Fire In Pembroke
Yesterday evening [Nov 29], the Bermuda Fire & Service extinguished a structural fire in Pembroke.
A BFRS spokesperson said, “At 10:52pm on Sunday November 29th, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of smoke and flame issuing from a two story structure in Hamilton, Pembroke.
“The Fire Service responded with two appliances from the Hamilton station and five firefighters.
“Upon arrival, fire crews saw a two story structure with flames coming out of a window on the lower level. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly extinguished the fire and vented the building. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
