[Updated] The annual MarketPlace Christmas Parade is taking place this evening [Nov 29] — traveling from Shelly Bay to Heron Bay — with the long route designed to allow people to practice social distancing while watching the parade, with the company previously urging people not to gather in large groups to watch.

In describing the route, the company previously said, “start at Shelly Bay MarketPlace, travel west on Northshore Road, continue onto Middle Road, Cavendish Road, Reid Street, then left on to Court Street, right on to Front Street, right on to Queen Street, right on to King Street, continue to Spurling Hill, East Broadway, Crow Lane, Trimingham Road, right on to South Road, continue on to Middle Road until Heron Bay MarketPlace.”
