Olde Towne Carolers To Perform At City Hall
The Olde Towne Carolers will perform a-capella at City Hall’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday [Nov 27], starting 6.45pm.
A spokesperson said, “Planning Factory Bermuda is pleased to announce the Bermudian Entertainment Group, The Olde Towne Carolers, will perform a-capella at City Hall’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 27, starting 6:45 p.m. The group will perform as a Community Service to highlight the City’s Annual Ceremony.
“Although events are being done differently this year, the full complement of 16 trained Carolers, under the direction of Sheila Smith, Chorale Director, will perform in a socially distanced way on the steps of City Hall.
“Sheila Smith, ‘Bermuda’s First Lady of Soul,’ has assembled for Planning Factory Bermuda the finest musical talent on island to regale in style for corporate and private events.
“Key performers include: Ed Christopher, Bermuda’s Towne Crier, who will light the City Hall Christmas Tree, Toni Robinson OBE, Dequan Trott, Head Boy at the Cedarbridge Academy, and Shardae Lee, head of the student Theatre Company of The Cedarbridge Academy, among a total of some 16 dedicated performers.”
