Bermuda School Of Music’s ‘Joy To The World’

The Bermuda School of Music will present ‘Joy to the World’ on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14 at St. John’s Church in Pembroke.

A spokesperson said, “Director Marjorie Pettit presents an evening of joyful and uplifting Holiday favorites both old and new for this year’s “Joy to the World”. The concert features the combined efforts of The Bermuda Chamber Choir & Orchestra with The Bermuda School of Music Youth Choir.

Mrs. Pettit has said, “The programme will include excerpts by Handel, Bach and Rutter together with many Christmas favourites, as well as a rousing selection of carols for audience participation. We are delighted to present two young Bermudian performers, Naphisa and Sari Smith, as guest soloists playing the very popular 1ST Movement [Allegro] from the Vivaldi Concerto for Two Violins.”
