Arrests Made After Home Invasion With Firearm
Noting a “disturbing video circulating,” the police confirmed the “firearm seen in this video along with multiple rounds of ammunition have been seized” and the “injured male is now under arrest and warded at KEMH” and a second male was also arrested, with the incident stemming from a “home invasion involving a firearm in the St. George’s area.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is aware of a disturbing video circulating on social media, in which a severely injured male is being held by another male and a firearm is also seen.
“The BPS can confirm the firearm seen in this video, along with multiple rounds of ammunition have been seized by our officers. The injured male is now under arrest and warded at The King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“Upon arrival by police, a second male was also arrested, given the circumstances found.
“This male, has now been released after assisting police with their enquiries into this incident, which stemmed from a reported home invasion involving a firearm in the St. Georges area early on the morning of Saturday 12th December, 2020.
“The BPS urges that anyone who finds themselves in such a situation where serious violence is presented, as rare as this occurrence is, then they should act within the confines of the law to protect themselves and others by immediately contacting the police via 911, to enable an emergency response from appropriately skilled police officers.
“Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to call the main police number, 295-0011 or 211.”
These ‘home invasions’ (and this is far from being the first one) are very curious . Have we ever gotten to the bottom of any of them so that the general public can figure out how much they are at risk for one ?
And all of the people who have been found on a sidewalk somewhere beaten to within an inch of their life ? Never ever hear anything more about them either . Very curious .

these guys watch too many rap videos and listen to too much rap music. Rap today is about the endeavor to become a ruthless serial killer gangster, who thinks nothing of killing a whole family even with kids to invade a home for a robbery. This is literally what rap boasts of today, and the kids and sad adults listening are trained to look up to this as a role-model to strive towards. Time to ban rap music. Rappers have influenced the crime and murders of millions since the 80s.
