Simons Urges People To Adhere To Protocols
“The OBA supports the government in their decision to implement more stringent measures to mitigate the virus,” OBA Leader Cole Simons said, adding that “to protect yourself, your family, and the entire community, we strongly urge everyone to adhere to these safety protocols.”
Mr Simons said, “In light of the increase of people testing positive for the coronavirus over the past several weeks, the OBA supports the government in their decision to implement more stringent measures to mitigate the virus.

Mr Simons added, “To protect yourself, your family, and the entire community, we strongly urge everyone to adhere to these safety protocols. No cheating. This is too serious because lives can be compromised and lost if this virus is contracted.
“Remember to use hand-sanitizers when you can’t wash your hands, stay within your own social bubble, observe social distancing, and as stated by the government, the Centres Against Diseases and the Pan American Health Organization, masks work. Please don’t leave home without them.
“If you have been exposed to the virus, please adhere to the quarantine and isolation protocols. Be honest and don’t cheat.
“In addition, we encourage the government to paint a full, realistic, and complete picture of Bermuda’s current Covid status so that our families and businesses can take responsible and defensive action.”

Maybe he should run for Governor.
Oh thats right.
What will they do next? Lock us in our houses? Make us wear ankle bracelets? Record our every move? This is a violation of freedom and human rights.
Oh your precious “personal freedoms” are at stake.
Grow a pair and take this seriously. This is not about your freedoms. This is about an international health crisis that Bermuda is not separate from.
You don’t get behind the wheel of a car after downing 10 beers do you? Or is that your prerogative because you are “free to do it”?
So how did a group just get a permit to hold a march on Friday protesting the wearing of masks etc?
If the people were to follow guidelines and use common sense, perhaps we would not been in this predicament again. Shopping trips..,order online
Travel only for medical purposes
Students returning, get your tests done early n bring confirmation of same.
Placed in quarantine, stay your backsides right where you are and your children who are all over the neighborhoods with others. Let them know how serious this situation is.
You don’t like directives from Government, businesses, friends..talk to survivors, families who have lost loved ones, read the New York Post reports and listen to Gov. Cuomo as he tells people, no tests taken stay out of New York and same story in a Canadian Province. We don,t have lockdown, we have people who think like you,, thus many new cases. Just still yourselves, educate your families and friends to enable everyone to be safe and to remain above ground. I heard a lady say this, Common sense is required.
If it’s so deadly why is the airport open? we should not be letting ppl in the island at the same time they are trying to discourage us from traveling but letting the germ into the island. That’s dumb ass thinking!
