Huckleberry Restaurant Suspends Operations
Saying it is out of an “abundance of caution following reports of staff exposure to Covid-19,” the Huckleberry Restaurant at Rosedon Hotel has suspended operations and said the “entire property will undergo a deep cleaning.”
While the Rosedon Hotel itself has been closed since July, the Huckleberry Restaurant had remained open.
A spokesperson said, “Huckleberry Restaurant announced suspension of operations and closure of the Rosedon Hotel property out of an abundance of caution following reports of staff exposure to Covid-19 virus.
“The entire property will undergo a deep cleaning and management are working directly with the Bermuda Government Covid-19 team. Staff who felt unsafe returning to their own residence, or those living in shared housing have been accommodated on property at Rosedon Hotel where they will safely isolate and complete Covid-19 testing protocols.”
This comes amidst an increasing number of Covid-19 cases, with the island recording over 100 new cases since the middle of September, with 53 cases currently active.
