Photos: BFRS Extinguish Another Vehicle Fire
Firefighters were kept very busy last night, as following the car fire in St George’s they had to respond to another vehicle fire, this time extinguishing a truck on fire in Pembroke at around 3.45am in the morning.
A BFRS spokesperson said, “At 3.45am, BFRS Dispatch received a report of a truck on fire on Curing Avenue, Pembroke. The BFRS responded with one appliance from Hamilton Station and a total of five firefighters.
“On arrival, fire crews found an open back truck fully involved in flames. The flames were quickly extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
