Audio: Larrita Adderley Releases ‘New Freedom’
Bermudian singer Larrita Adderley has released a single entitled New Freedom, with the singer saying that the song was inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic and the song is to encourage anyone who wants to give up.
The song was written by Ms. Adderley, the instrumental was created by SoulFyah Productions, and engineering was done by Shondel Easton at Just Platinum Studios; the song was produced by Raymond “Whopper Benz” Symonds under the label Legion Of Light Productionz.
Ms Adderley — a former winner of the Bermuda Idol contest who has performed at the legendary Apollo Theatre in New York multiple times — told Bernews, “This song was inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic last year.
“Just because we are going through Covid together, don’t be discouraged. Walk into your new freedom this year. Life is so precious. Be careful, wear your mask.
“Never forget your freedom: freedom to love, freedom to live, and freedom to worship the king of kings.
“We must remind ourselves through this time also to worship the trial and tribulation.
“This song is to encourage anyone who wants to give up. Just remember that we are free. Let 2021 be your new freedom. Bermuda, we are making it – there is still hope,”
