Bermuda Weather Service Director Dr Mark Guishard is joining Bernews today [Jan 26] for the latest episode in the Bernews News & Views series, with Dr Guishard set to discuss the expected weather conditions later this week, when storm force winds are expected.
As of this writing, the BWS forecast for Thursday states, “Winds southwesterly strong to gale force, increasing gale force with gusts storm force to hurricane force in the afternoon through evening while veering northwesterly, easing gale force gusts to storm force overnight.”
During the interview, Dr Guishard advised that in addition to the Gale Warning for Thursday, the BWS has now issued a Storm Warning valid for late Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.
