BNA To Host Coaching Development Course
The Bermuda Netball Association will be hosting a Coaching Development Course.
“The course is perfect for those who are at least 16 years of age, who wish to start coaching netball, or teachers who are new or need a refresher on netball fundamentals,” a spokesperson said.
“The level 1 netball coaching certificate has eight [8] modules covering the role of the coach, how to give instruction and feedback, fundamental netball skills, court application, and how to plan a training session. The course incorporates theoretical and practical components completed in-program. Successful completion of all modules and a netball rules quiz are required to gain the level 1 certificate.
“The level 2 netball coaching certificate has eight [8] modules covering strategy and game analysis, physiology of netball, the coach in action, game sense, and more advanced netball skills. The course incorporates theoretical and practical components completed in-program.
“Successful completion of all modules and a netball rules quiz are required to gain the level 2 certificate.”
