Francis Patton ‘Longtail Plunge’ On Feb 6
Francis Patton Primary School is getting set to hold a ‘Longtail Plunge’ on Saturday [Feb 6], with all proceeds to go toward the school’s sports program.
The event will take place at the Francis Patton Primary dock, with parents and teachers taking part.
A spokesperson said, “Our school will be having a plunge, starting with our principal, then parents and teachers. We will jump off the school dock into the freezing cold water next Saturday, February 6th at 9.00am to raise funds for our sports program.”
The event poster says, “Come out and watch us take the plunge for our students! The teachers and parents of the students of Francis Patton Primary School will be taking ‘The Plunge’. We are looking for willing ‘Longtails’ to sign-up for this worthwhile event. All proceeds in aid of the school’s sports program.”
