Kaden Hopkins Competes In Dominican Republic

Kaden Hopkins recently began competing in the National Independence Cyclistic Vuelta 2021 in the Dominican Republic.

Hopkins, who is part of the Bermuda-Puerto Rico team, finished ninth with a time of 3:27.26, leading the second pack across the line. Geovanny Garcia from the Dominican Republic was first across the line in a time of 3:23.47.

Hopkins – the Under 23 Division Defending Champion – is also in third place, 3 minutes and 39 seconds behind the leader Manuel Steven Polanco Elena, who finished fourth overall in a time of 3:23.47.

Luis Molina Pagan, Hopkins’ teammate, was 14th overall in a time of 3:23.55, and Julian Otero Gonzalez was the third member of the team to cross the line, with a time of 3:23.56.

The Bermuda-Puerto Rico team is in seventh place after the first stage, with an overall time of 10:22.32, which is 7:28 off the leaders Venezuela Pais De Futuro, who have a combined time of 10:15:04.
