Disruptions At Mills Creek Mail Processing Centre

March 31, 2021

There “will be service disruptions at its Mills Creek Mail Processing Centre” so all “local mail processing has been relocated to the General Post Office,” officials said today.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is advising that there will be service disruptions at its Mills Creek Mail Processing Centre.

“All local mail processing has been relocated to the General Post Office [GPO] Hamilton.

“The BPO is asking all bulk and business mailers who typically deposit mail at the Processing Centre to instead use the side entrance of the GPO building on Church Street.

“All other sub-offices remain open for business, during their regularly scheduled hours.

“The BPO thanks the public for their cooperation and patience.”

  1. Ringmaster says:

Is this connected to lack of mail from the UK since the middle of last year?

  2. Transparency says:

Ok, so, what is the estimated return to normal at mills creek with the interruption? Is this Covid related or some other technical issue? Parking at Hamilton Post Office is very difficult at times. You don’t have to give too many details, we understand. Just give a little more in the way of basic info., then we will understand and be patient. It is called Transparency , otherwise, this is nearly a wasted press release

You will never get voluntary transparency from Government, but feel free to make a PATI request for all documents relating to the temporary closure of the Mills Creek mail facility

Is this why I am still getting Christmas cards?
