Police Investigating Non-Compliance At Party
[Updated] Noting they are “aware of videos being circulated on social media, indicating non-compliance with Covid-19 regulations at a house party in Smith’s Parish,” the police confirmed they “are now investigating.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is aware of videos being circulated on social media, indicating non-compliance with Covid-19 regulations at a house party in Smith’s Parish.
“The BPS is now investigating to establish individuals involved. Anyone with information is asked to call 211 or, the main police number, 295-0011.
“We wish to once again remind the public, current Covid-19 regulations stipulate, gatherings are restricted to no more than twenty-five people, masks must be worn during such gatherings and social distancing must be observed.”
Update 6.57pm: Speaking at this evening’s press conference, Premier David Burt said, “I have been informed by the Minister of National Security is, and I will read the message from the Minister of National Security, is that the Bermuda Police Service are actively investigating a house party in Smith’s parish and a file is expected to be submitted to the DPP in due course.”

Well we are not Texas thank God or USA for that matter and hate to say it but that’s why they’re in the situation they are.
While I whole heartedly support the investigation concerning this party, I also find it highly hypocritical of “This Government” that until today, they have not held their very own at the time cabinet ministers accountable for blatantly breaking the very laws they created with parties and covid, the BLU incident is what I am referring too!
Anyone brought before a judge should scream at the top of their lungs about that!!
