Talented Performer? Apply For Bermuda Festival
The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts is now accepting applications for their 2021 Virtual Festival, with performers given the opportunity to showcase their talent virtually, entertain the public, and earn $1,000.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts is excited to announce they are now accepting applications for the 2021 Virtual Festival. The Festival aims to show a minimum of one show per month starting in May and wants to feature a variety of performance genres eg. Theatre, Popular Music, Jazz, Classical, Dance [all kinds], etc. Shows will be presented through our YouTube channel.
“Priority will be given to programmes featuring professional Bermudian performers both in Bermuda and abroad. The virtual programme will be approximately 40min in duration and will include a mix of live interviews, live performances, and pre-recorder performances.
“Artists interested in participating in the 2021 Virtual Festival, should visit the Festival’s website for all the details and to fill out an application. Each application will be reviewed by the Festival Programme Advisory Committee. The selected artists will be contacted via email with further instructions between March 29 and April 5.
“Application closing date: March 19th, 2021.”
