Exemption Protocol For Home Care Providers
The Bermuda Health Council is advising Home Care providers of the Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] [Stay at Home] Regulations 2021 exemption protocol.
A spokesperson said, “All registered Home Care providers [Caregivers] are advised to:
- Carry a copy of your official registration letter provided by the Health Council. This applies to individuals who registered after September 2020.
- In addition, please ensure that you carry a valid photo ID.
“If you have never registered with the Bermuda Health Council as a Home Care provider [Caregiver] or your registration has expired:
- Please complete the Stay at Home Order Temporary Exemption Form to receive a temporary exemption letter for your scheduled work hours.
- In addition, please ensure that you carry a valid photo ID.
“Home Care provider registration can be found at: www.bhec.bm/home-care-provider-registrations which is located at the top of the web page.
“Those who work for a Home Care Agency or Care Home / Nursing Home:
- Please contact your employer directly for letters of employment.
- In addition, please ensure that you carry a valid photo ID.
“Questions or concerns can be submitted to registrations@bhec.bm
