Once again, utter and complete incompetence by the government. Ham-fisted.

For those that can work from home, guess when they can shop? Saturdays and Sundays. We can’t go out and stand in-line during a business day. Bearing in mind that stores have capacity limits in place, this is pointless.

Honestly, they couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery.

Dam you’re a miserable TROLL. The OBA is not coming back get over it lol. You should get your pressure check!

      • Question says:

Burt was fine with taking the credit when all was looking good.

Now that things are a total mess, all of it avoidable, he blames everyone else. Nothing to do with him at all, apparently, as far as he is concerned.

    • Joe Bloggs says:

Over 850 new cases in less than 3 weeks, almost all of which are local transmission, and you are blaming the Government? Get real.

Blame the jokers among us that cannot follow the rules. The ones having parties in The Botanical Gardens, and house in Smiths, Hamilton Paget and Pembroke Parishes (that we know of).

      • sandgrownan says:

Government sets the tone, especially when it comes to behaviour.

      • Question says:

Government sets the rules. Last week Burt said “this will work because it worked before.”

Burt also changed his own legislation two weeks ago to weaken the effect of covid laws, making them summary offences rather than crimes. He was actually irritated that the police were enforcing his covid laws.

He is a weak leader. He didn’t see this coming until it was too late. He has total control (30-6) yet he still made a mess of it.

Bingo but some bloggers on here are very immature and dumb.

Sandgrownan..You should run the government, maybe things would be better under your watch,i know you would not want that job, when they read post like the one you wrote, how do you think they feel when their trying to do the best they can,for us and the country.

Sorry, but that is politics. If you can’t handle the criticisms then don’t become a politician. And plus the PLP and their supporters, whilst in opposition, were much much worse towards the ruling Party at the time.

Don’t like it, then don’t give it. Simple.

    • sandgrownan says:

LOL, if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

  3. MADDOG says:

Sandgrownan…at least the stores are open and we have access to food, for that, are we not grateful?! Don’t know what your work hours are, but its a 12 hour window of availability daily, can’t you make that work for a week?! If this is your biggest problem, think yourself lucky.

  4. In Mark's Opinion says:

This new world order plan is just putting me and others in a hole we will never get out of. I haven’t seen a full weeks pay in over a year and now another week out of work. Bermuda is way too expensive to not be working when you need to pay to live. These rules are design to make people fail. The people shutting down Bermuda haven’t missed a paycheck since it all started.

  5. Boots says:

It’ a crying shame that it’s always a political issue this is a first for the entire world every country is dealing with this pandemic and it’s only God that can turn it around trust God through the process press on premier Burt and health minister your in my prayers daily

    • Sandgrownan says:

Thoughts and prayers. The act of feeling like you are doing something but are actually achieving nothing.
