“Vaccine Myth Busters” Discussion On Saturday
The Ministry of Health will be holding an online discussion on the Covid-19 vaccine entitled “Vaccine Myth Busters Addressing Fears & Concerns” on Saturday evening [April 24] with the panel set to include Dr Ayo Oyinloye, Dr Carika Weldon, Dy-Juan DeRoza, and Dr Ramon Arscott.
The video panel discussion will be held at 7pm and available at various locations — including Bernews — and you can email your questions to the panel via askus@gov.bm.

Under the classification of a vaccine, do any these pfizer, astro. or j&j fall under it? No
Do they work the same as a vaccine? No
Do they help your body create immunity to covid? No

So why does the government keep calling it a vaccine and striving for herd immunity if we wont be immune to covid after we take the jab?

Government has not released information as to how many had received one or both shots prior to their deaths. Will they???

- why are we not able to test for antibodies?
-if someone test positive and they request to be retested, why are they denied?
Me, I have to disagree with your post. They work as a vaccine in that they cause the body’s immune system to produce antibodies against the Covid and eliminate the chance of a vaccinated person becoming ill when exposed to the virus. Sounds good to me!
Yes, Vaccinated people can test positive to the virus and in theory can infect other people. With a much lowered viral load evidence has shown that they are much less likely to spread the virus to others.
Does the semantics of what a vaccine is defined as actually matter? No; as long as they do the job which is to prevent people from becoming ill.
I think that my first post says it all.
It doesn’t help your bodies immune system . It takes over as the dominant response . It’s an artificial response at best. Now your natural immune system will have to compete against the vaccine and probably loose the battle. Then you will for every have to rely on vaccines in the future. Say good by to your perfectly capable immune system . That is of course if your heathy. We know that a depressed immune system is the whole reason we are in this mess. And it is not the responsibility of heathy people to take a vaccine to fix the problem

As a US resident and former ICU RN, I also was curious about the availability and use of early therapeutics for Covid in Bermuda. Are Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, vitamins D, C, Zinc, or monoclonal antibody infusions, being used early on, and is convalescent plasma available to in hospital patients? Are they proning ICU patients? Just curious about this, and who has answers. I have been vaccinated and am planning a visit.
