What happened to your silly march? Did you not get your Trump hats in time?

        • LOL (original) says:

You obsessions with Trump is remarkable. TDS much.

        • LOL (original) says:

          Hope your wearing double masks….

LOL come on your never seen what people in virology documenters wear to know this silly mask will not protect you. So both you and the person your wearing the mask to protect are wearing the same type of mask and you think your both protected…? I don’t know what to tell you….

    • widea wake says:

good morning bermuda covid19 is here this is no dream or fairytale
please wear a mask and follow the rules it is the only way we will all have a chance to get back to normal if you know some fools who are breaking the rules by having parties and large gatherings repot them
this mass speading has to stop if not you can believe that we will go
      back into lockdown

  2. Question says:

If the Minister of Health doesn’t know the rules, how are we supposed to follow them?

    • Joe Bloggs says:

Knowing the rules and following the rules to 2 very different concepts

  3. Vortex says:

You are messing it up David.

These measures in no way go far enough. Weak.

  4. CyBorg says:

The Health Minister is doing a fantastic job. She just need to take a break… have some compassion this is not easy for even Fauci.

  5. Wahoo says:

Are all results from yesterday in? I know many who got tested and have not recieved results.

  6. enough says:

Question….Why was permission given for such a huge crowd to attend the funeral a couple of weeks ago on the Old Royal Navel Field. Government had to know there would be way too many people. They even went up and had the grass cut. Own up Government and admit you guys have really messed up this time. Premiers David Burt even said on the broadcast last night the so far 50 cases have been traced back to that function and the wake that followed. Not understanding why it was allowed to go on. That’s the super spreader function and now look at the mess we are in.

    • treatment says:

It is who you know that lets you do what you want. Nobody will never say they are at fault in Bermuda! The people just did not follow the rules and government knew it.

    • Because they were b**** says:

      Enough said. Next question?

  7. lion says:

Why do we need an app that lets us know when we are close to someone who is positive, when people who are positive should be isolated in the first place?

    • NC says:

It will let you know if you have recently been close to someone who has since found out they are positive.

      • LOL (original) says:

Or it will keep you in a panic creating real anti socials.

LOL just saying could you imagine if someone where to hack that app? The panic would be…….

  8. BB says:

It would inspire a bit more confidence in the governments ability if they could hold press conferences when they say they are and not when it suits them.

  9. time to act says:

I think IMO its time for regiment re embodiment and to TAKE THE GLOVES OFF and ENFORCE the flipping laws/rules. It seems more than obvious that there is a signifcant sector of the population regrettably young that just DONT GET IT NOR CARE. The disregard is appalling

    • NO Military Society says:

Sorry but I don’t support your suggestion for the Regiment to take gloves off! I don’t live in a Police state and will fight legally to keep Bermuda a free democracy!

    • Joe Bloggs says:

Sorry, our Constitution (and the Constitutions of most civilised societies) prohibit such actions.

    • aceboy says:

Sorry comrade, this isn’t Soviet Russia.

  10. Loquat tree says:

Can someone remove last year’s comments from the front page?

Can Bernews ask a lawyer re the indemnity on the form above? Surely there must be some claim to be made if taking the vaccine in good faith and something untoward occurred.

  11. Real Deal says:

this silly because you can not win against Nature in this way. everyone has to and will get the virus gov should just be trying to make sure people are exposed in a controlled matter so that those that bodies are hit hard do not flood the hospital. we should be letting a set about healthy people interact with the virus each week so that they get it over and done with

  12. pink buoy says:

Can grocery orders be picked up on any day if you are not entering the store, just picking up in the parking lot? Or is it still by last name as well? Genuinely don’t recall from last year as I didn’t use the service.

  13. Micro says:

    Reducing operating hours creates crowds.

  14. Deborah says:

    Just observing:

    1. Clubs break rules (congregation) and get 24 hour closure. One Joe Blow breaks rule and gets fined how much!!!! Wow!!!

    2. Premier advises that Vets are defined as medical services. Great then lets get some medical insurance for our pets. It is needed!!!

    3. Why is the Government REWARDING individuals who attend parties, test positive for COVID 19, and/or are quarantine, and are paid for the period they off work and under quarantine! Crazy s%#t!!!

  15. wowza says:

No vaccine update in 10 days?? With the multiple huge donations, I’d think they’d be a bit quicker in getting this info to the public? Thoughts?

  16. Question says:

So no testing / new cases update today then, Wednesday. In the middle of what is supposed to be a major health crisis.

Did the results come in after 6.00pm, when Minister Wilson stops ‘work’?
