Ministry: 61 Bus Runs Cancelled On Thursday
[Updated] The Ministry released the list of bus cancellations for this morning [May 27] with the list indicating that there are fourteen bus runs cancelled so far today.
Update 4.05pm: The Ministry has released the list of bus cancellations for this afternoon. There were 14 runs cancelled this morning, 47 cancelled this afternoon, for a total of 61 cancelled today.

I know this is a question that will make people shake their head, but could someone demand, not ask, how much tax payers’ money is being saved by these cancellations, and if zero, why? The bus “service” has a budget and with so many cancellations expenses must be less than budgeted, or have so many new staff been hired routes have to be cancelled to stay within budget? Minister Scott, please step up for your photo op and 15 minutes of fame.
Don’t hold your breath. It’s never been explained how going to one day a week garbage collection has saved any money when there is still the same number of trucks and staff .
