Clearwater School Building Reopening On June 3

The air conditioning system at Clearwater Middle School “is now fully functional, and the school building will be open for in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd,” Minister of Education Diallo Rabain said.

Minister Rabain said, “As announced yesterday, Clearwater Middle School was experiencing Air Conditioning [A/C] problems and as a precaution, the school building was closed today, June 2nd, to ensure all the necessary repairs were completed.”

“Staff, parents and students are advised that the Air Conditioning [A/C] system is now fully functional, and the school building will be open for in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, June 3rd.”

“The Ministry would like to thank all staff and parents for their patience while this matter was being addressed.”

Minister Rabain concluded, “Bermuda, I remind you each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask, practice good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance and download the WeHealth Bermuda app. Do the research, talk with your doctor, and make an informed decision about getting the COVID-19 vaccine.”
