Narraway & Conyers Back In Dairylands Action

June 26, 2021

Nicholas Narraway and Caitlin Conyers were back in action competing on the Tour of America’s Dairylands in Wisconsin.

The pair competed on Historic Downer Avenue home to one of the most famous urban criterium courses in the country. Famous for its triangle course with turn #1 fast and straightforward, turn #2 acute on rough pavement, and turn #3 and #4 very fast back-to-back to make the triangle.

Wet patches along the course from earlier rain meant that riders may have started cautiously but as conditions continued to dry, the speeds continued to increase. Sketchy corners, riders elbowing each other at speeds of 33 -35 miles per hours.

The Men’s Pro 1 / Cat 2 race finished in heavy fog, decreasing visibility in the last few laps.

Narraway finished 25th out of 65 finishers with 82 riders starting the race, Narraway finished 15 seconds behind the winner Peter Olejniczak riding for Project Echelon Racing.

The Women’s Pro 1 / Cat 2 race was raced in wet road conditions

Conyers crossed the line 31st out of 40 finishers, finishing in the peloton 1:10 behind the winner Skylar Schneider of team L39ION of Los Angeles.
