Traffic Notice For BBA Road Race
The Bermuda Bicycle Association VT Construction Road Race will take place on Sunday, September 27, with no road closures planned for the event. Police officers and race marshals will direct traffic along the route, and motorists are asked to exercise caution and follow their instructions.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises motorists that the Bermuda Bicycle Association VT Construction Road Race will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m.
“The race will begin and end on South Road in the vicinity of Gulfstream Restaurant. Cyclists will travel east along South Road, turn left onto St. Paul’s Lane, continue left onto Middle Road towards Barnes Corner, and then turn left onto South Road to return to the finish.
“There will be no road closures for this event. Police Officers and Race Marshals will direct traffic along the route, and motorists are asked to exercise caution and follow their instructions.
“The Ministry encourages the cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
