Smith Competes In USATF Showcase In Texas
Tyrone Smith recently competed in the USATF Showcase held at Prairie View A&M Stadium in Texas.
Jamaican Ryan Brown won the men’s long jump after he recorded the top leap of 8.04m; Jamaican Damar Forbes and American Jarvis Gotch both leaped 7.97m for second place, while Smith finished fourth with 7.80m.
Smith started with a foul, before leaping 7.58m on his second attempt and 7.80m on his third attempt.
He followed that up with a leap of 7.70m on his fourth attempt and 7.80m on his fifth, before fouling on his final attempt.
