A spokesperson said, “The mission of ACB is to enhance the quality of life and advance the rights and opportunities of older adults in Bermuda. “Today, ACB is an independent, non-profit organization with a member program of more than 5000 people over the age of 50 years.

“In addition to a strong advocacy focus, ACB provides a variety of programs and services that include informational workshops, advice, hardship support and referral services. ACB members also enjoy access to a wide range of member-related discounts, concessions, and social events.

The Board’s work is supported by volunteer Board committees that include, Governance, Finance, Audit & Risk, Fund Development and Membership, as well as ad hoc subcommittees, which work on projects as required. ACB is committed to Board level succession planning to enable continuous improvement of our organization, through Board experience and activities.
