[Updated with photos] St. Georges Cricket Club, Willow Cuts, Somerset Cricket Club, Warwick Workmen’s Club, Cleveland County, and Somerset Bridge all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier & First Division cricket action.
Premier Division
St. Georges Cricket Club won by 8 wickets: Bailey’s Bay 136/5 St. George’s Cricket Club 137/2
At the Sea Breeze Oval, Bailey’s Bay was sent to bat by the St. George’s Cricket Club, they would score 136/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Zeko Burgess was the top scorer with 35, while Tredwell Gibbons was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-18-1.
In reply the St. George’s Cricket Club scored 137/2, Allan Doulas II was the top scorer with 47, both Jordan Buress and Cameron Jeffers claimed a wicket for 23 runs.

Willow Cuts won by 3 wickets: St. Davids Cricket Club 160/7 Willow Cuts 161/7
St. Davids Cricket Club won the toss at the Somerset Cricket Club and elected to bat, they would score 160/7, Ajuan Lambe was the top scorer with 40, while Joseph Basden was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 3-0-29-2.
In reply Willow Cuts scored 161/7, Kwasi James was the top scorer with 70, which came off 47 balls, he hit 5 fours and 4 sixes, Maclaren Lowe was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3.4-0-23-4.
Somerset Cricket Club won by 77 runs: Somerset Cricket Club 222/6 Southampton Rangers 145/9
At the Devonshire Rec., the Somerset Cricket Club scored 218/6 against the Southampton Rangers, Chris Douglas was the top scorer with 52, which came off 25 balls, he hit 5 fours and 4 sixes.
In reply Southampton Rangers could only make 145/9, Charles Trott was the scorer with 59 off 32 balls, he hit 2 fours and 7 sixes, Jordan DeSilva was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-16-2.
First Division
Warwick Workmen’s Club won by 99 runs: Warwick Workmen’s Club 217/5 Devonshire Recreation Club 118/7
At the Devonshire Rec., Warwick Workmen’s Club walked away with a 99 run victory over the Devonshire Recreation Club, batting first Warwick Workmen’s Club scored 217/5, Dominic Sabir was the top scorer with 116, which came off 56 balls, he hit 9 fours and 9 sixes, while Chris Daley was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-31-2.
In reply Devonshire Recreation Club could only manage 118/7, Tarik Jennings and Dion Ball, both scored 23, while Cory Burgess returned figures of 3-0-8-4.
Cleveland County won by 149 runs: Cleveland County 179/2 PHC 30
At the Somerset Cricket Club, Cleveland County won by 149 runs over PHC, Cleveland County scored 179/2 batting first, Zeri Tomlinson was the top scorer with 87, off 67 balls he hit 5 fours and 5 sixes, Steven Bremar chipped in with 51, Darrien Gibbons was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 4-0-28-1.
In reply PHC were bowled out for 30, Gibbons was the top scorer with 20, Tybrae Robinson was the pick of the Cleveland County returning figures of 3.5-0-23-6.
Somerset Bridge won by 6 wickets: Flatt’s Victoria 105/9 Somerset Bridge 107/4
At the Sea Breeze Oval, Somerset Bridge picked up their second win of the season following their 6 wicket victory over the Flatt’s Victoria.
Flatt’s Victoria batted first and was restricted to 105/9, Nelson Bascome was the top scorer with 18, while Kareem Hollis was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 4-0-21-2.
In reply Somerset Bridge scored 107/4, Jason Smith was the top scorer with 41 not out, while Regino Smith was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 4-0-17-2.
