[Updated with photos] Bailey’s Bay, Somerset Cricket Club, Western Stars, and PHC all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier & First Division cricket action.

Premier Division

Bailey’s Bay won by 27 runs: Bailey’s Bay 158/7 St. David’s Cricket Club 131/9

Bailey’s Bay batted first and scored 158/7 in their 20 overs with Coolidge Durham the top scorer with 42, while Justin Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-27-2.

In reply the St. David’s Cricket Club could only manage, falling by 25 runs. Kevin Hurdle was the top scorer with 44, while Rodney Trott was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 4-0-18-5.

Somerset Cricket Club Win by 25 runs: Somerset Cricket Club 181/8 Willow Cuts 156/6

Batting first at the Somerset Cricket Club, Somerset would score 181/6 in their allotted 20 overs, Alje Richardson was the top scorer with 61, while Kwasi James was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 4-1-16-3.

In reply Willow Cuts could only manage 156/6, James was the top scorer with 42, while Dalin Richardson was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club with figures of 4-0-31-2.

First Division

Western Stars won by 5 wickets: Somerset Bridge 115/5 Western Stars 118/5

At the Sea Breeze Oval, Western Stars won a nail bitter, defeating Somerset Bride by 5 wickets with four balls to spare.

Somerset Bride batted first and scored 115/5, with Shane Hollis the top scorer with 52 not out, while Seion Darrell was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 2-0-11-1.

In reply Western Stars scored 118/5 in 19.2 overs, Khiry Furbert was the top scorer with 37, while Noel Woods was the pick of the Somerset Bride bowlers with figures of 4-0-19-2.

PHC won by 6 runs: PHC 99/9 Flatt’s Victoria 93/7

Batting first at the Somerset Cricket Club, PHC were restricted to 99/9 in their allotted 20 overs, Ori Wilson was the top scorer with 18, while Regino Smit was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures o 4-0-28-3.

In reply Flatt’s Victoria would only make 93/7 in their 20 overs, Reinald Baker was the top scorer with 33, while Terron Webb had figures of 4-0-14-2 to lead PHC to victory.
