Daquan Williams Now In Police Custody
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating Daquan ‘Smokey’ Williams, with the BPS noting that “the public should not approach Daquan, but if he is seen, call 911 immediately.”

Speaking at yesterday’s [Aug 30] press conference, Chief Inspector Peter Stableford of the Serious Crime Unit said, “I am appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a second person we wish to speak to called Daquan ‘Smokey’ Williams. Daquan is 25 years old and from the St George’s area.
“I must emphasize the public should not approach Daquan but if he is seen call 911 immediately.
“Anyone who has any information on Daquan’s whereabouts, they can call 211 or the confidential crime stoppers number on 800 8477. Anyone in contact with Daquan, please encourage him to come to the police station as soon as possible or call me on 717-2286.”
Update 10.16pm: A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that 25 year old Daquan Williams was taken into police custody this evening [Tuesday, 31st August] following a public appeal regarding his whereabouts yesterday [Monday, 30th August].
“As a result, a further update on the investigation into the recent Orange Hole Hill, St. David’s shooting that left a 22 year old man hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries is expected tomorrow, Wednesday 1st September.”
