Duffy #1 In Triathlon Championship Rankings
The Maurice Lacroix World Triathlon Championship Rankings have been updated following this weekend’s race in Montreal, with Bermuda’s Flora Duffy currently ranked #1 in the Elite Women Category.
According to the World Triathlon website, “The Maurice Lacroix World Triathlon Championship Rankings are used to determine the best-performing triathletes of the season and, ultimately, the World Champions.
“In 2021, an athlete’s final score will obtained by adding the three best scores from the World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama, Leeds and Montreal events plus the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and points gained in the World Triathlon Championship Series Grand Final Edmonton.”
Ms Duffy is set to compete in the last remaining race, the World Triathlon Championship Series Grand Final Edmonton, which takes place on Saturday, August 21st.
