KPMG To Work With The Berkeley Institute
“We are thrilled to announce that we will be collaborating with Berkeley Institute in the area of professional development and succession planning,” KPMG in Bermuda said.
A spokesperson said, “Working with the community is at the heart of KPMG in Bermuda [KPMG] and our Impact Plan. KPMG has long had a focus on the education and youth sectors in the communities in which we live and we are thrilled to announce that we will be collaborating with The Berkeley Institute in the area of professional development and succession planning.
“This initiative will be led by KPMG’s Learning & Development team. Key focus areas for this collaboration include:
- Providing support in building the School’s talent development and succession plan for all teaching and non-teaching, high performing and high potential staff. This will include the creation of a three year professional development plan; and
- Working with The Berkeley Institute’s Signature School Transition Committee and its Workforce/ Collaboration and Curriculum sub-committees, as the School prepares to become one of the two first senior signature schools in Bermuda beginning in September 2022.”
Adam Smith stated, “Educational and social initiatives are embedded in KPMG’s Impact Plan, which focuses on four key areas: Planet, People, Prosperity and Governance, which aligns directly with the our ESG goals. Embedding education into our strategy ensures we are tied to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs]. People are the foundation of any organisation. KPMG has built a robust learning and development program which allows us to assist The Berkeley Institute with their talent development and succession planning areas of focus.”
