People Urged To Cooperate With Contact Tracers
The Bermuda Government is reminding the public that full cooperation is needed when contacted by the contact tracers, noting that the “whole process is 100% confidential so there is no need to worry about your privacy.”
The Bermuda Government posted the graphic below, saying: “Our contact tracers work tirelessly to protect Bermuda from the spread of the coronavirus, but they need your full cooperation when they contact you.
“The whole process is 100% confidential so there is no need to worry about your privacy. We can’t fight this virus and protect the wellbeing of our community without our contact tracers, so we must do all we can to ensure they are not overwhelmed.
“As always, to decrease the odds of getting the coronavirus, avoid the three “Cs”: closed spaces, crowded places and close contact settings.
“Each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Follow Public Health guidelines, wear a mask indoors, practice good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance and download the WeHealth Bermuda app.”
