Fred Is “Not A Threat To Bermuda At This Time”
Tropical Storm Fred is “not a threat to Bermuda at this time”, the Bermuda Weather Service said, with its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hours forecast to be 840 nm to the SSW at 1am on Thursday August 12th, with the BWS noting that “this system may move closer to Bermuda after this time period depending upon its track.”

The latest forecast from the U.S. National Hurricane Center said, “Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is likely while the system interacts with Hispaniola later today. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center.”
