A Visible Minority: Asian Diasporas In Bermuda

The Department of Culture is reminding people about tomorrow’s [Aug 25] Bermudian Heartbeats event: A Visible Minority: Asian Diasporas in Bermuda.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department is encouraging members of the public to join the discussion on Asian identity in Bermuda. Taking place 6.00 p.m. at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] panelists include Professor Anthony Ocampo, Gracie Edwards, Liana Hall and Dany Pen.

“This event will highlight the diversity of Bermuda’s society as being one of our greatest strengths. Furthermore, the emigration of Asian peoples to Bermuda has enhanced our rich cultural mosaic. There are limited seats available for those who wish to attend this event in person. The panel discussion will also be aired via Zoom. Persons can register here.
